Towarzystwo Śpiewacze Modus Vivendi was established in Katowice (Piotrowice) In 2001, on the initiative of Urszula and Roman Warzech - lovers of choral music. The name of the Society means "Modus Vivendi" (Latin for Way of life)
Members of the Society come from various professional groups. Among them are students and pensioners, doctors and engineers, economists, teachers and representatives of other professions.
