Choir Labris : Poland

The LABRIS Choir functions at the Library – Cultural Center in Morzeszczyn, a cultural institution of the Morzeszczyn Municipality. It is located in the northern part of Poland, in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the ethnic region known as Kociewie. The group was formed in 2012 as the initiative of the former director of the Morzeszczyn Municipal Cultural Center, Celina Mueller. The first conductor of the choir was Karolina Kornas, followed by Karolina Górska.

Currently, the group consists of choir members who enthusiastically develop their musical passions, while also performing during local cultural, religious and patriotic events. The LABRIS Choir organized six editions of the Pomeranian Choir Review in Dzierżążno and Nowa Cerkiew. Since October 2022, under the initiative of Damian Domański, the current cultural CEO, the choir has performed under the guidance of a new manager and conductor, Łukasz Kiełpiński.
