Wir möchten uns für
die Einladung zur Teilnahme an den Prager
Folkloretagen nochmals ganz herzlich bedanken. Es war ein schönes
Erlebnis mit dabei sein zu dürfen, uns hat es gut gefallen bei
Ihnen
in Prag. Der Festumzug vom Sonntag und der Auftritt beim Altstätter
Ring waren zwei sehr eindrückliche Momente. Aber auch der Abend
im
Kloster, zusammen mit all den anderen Teilnehmern wird uns
unvergesslich bleiben. Märchler

Wir sind nach vier für
uns alle unvergesslichen Tage in Prag inzwischen
wieder gut in unserer Heimat angekommen. Unsere Teilnahme an Ihrem Folklore
Festival 2007 hinterlässt bei uns allen überwältigende
Eindrücke eines
interessanten Landes, einer wunderbaren Stadt und unvergesslichen
Begegnungen. Unsere Trachtengruppe
Bludenz / Wolfurt war in den letzten Jahren bereits auf zahlreichen Festivals
auf der halben Welt, von Amerika bis Norwegen, von
Frankreich bis Italien. Eine so perfekte Organisation wie bei Ihnen beim
Prager Folklore Festival hatten wir alle jedoch noch nie. Seitens
aller Teilnehmer unserer Gruppe hiermit ein herzliches DANKESCHÖN
an
Sie und Ihr Team. Es war wunderbar, dass wir dabei sein konnten. Liebe

Wir haben wunderschöne Tage in Prag verbracht. Die Veranstaltungen waren hervorragend, am besten hat uns der Eröffnungsabend am Freitag gefallen. Wir bedanken uns, dass wir mit dabei sein durften. Após longa e cansativa viagem de regresso, volto ao contacto para, antecipadamente, lhe endereçar votos, muito sinceros, de PARABÉNS. Na verdade, é a palavra mais simples para exteriorizarmos o sentimento que invade o nosso coração. Apesar do elevado número de grupos participantes, de toda a logística que envolveu a organização, tudo foi programado ao pormenor o que permitiu que não houvesse tempos mortos. De entre os vários momentos, queremos destacar o espectáculo com que fomos brindados no serão de Sexta-Feira. Foi uma experiência inolvidável. Finalmente, expressamos a nossa gratidão pela forma extremamente simpática e doce como fomos acompanhados pela Lucie e pela Katerine. Foram simplesmente fantásticas. Muito obrigado por esta oportunidade. Um abraço de muita amizade

Heartfelt thanks to the arrangers of the Prague Folklore Days. The festival was well-organized and it was nice to see other dancers from all over Europe. We had wonderful time there. We all enjoyed the festival very much -both young and
old!I It was very well organized and the Czech hospitality was fantastic!
We also enjoyed seeing the various performances and meeting the other
dancers and musicians from the other participating countries. Our guides
were so friendly and so helpful. We were very much impressed with Prague
- such a beautiful city and many of us hope to return one day!
Again many thanks to all those involved with the festival and best wishes
for the future

Folk fest takes to the streets
Annual Prague Folklore Days celebrate traditions from around the world
Pipers played a simple tune that wafted over Old Town Square, causing a group
of women in kerchief hats to pick up their feet and dance. Other
musicians blew on their bagpipes for the Prague Folklore Days festival held
July 26–29. In a parade, some carried oxen yokes
hung with traditionally embroidered textiles to herald the event, which
brought musicians and dancers from more than a dozen countries to show
off their customs. Hundreds of people turned out for the noncompetitive
gathering organized by Millennium Travel.Music and dance were represented
from countries including Latvia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy and Spain. — Beth
